ചെന്നൈ: തൂത്തുക്കുടി കസ്റ്റഡി മരണക്കേസില്‍ അറസ്റ്റിലായ സ്‌പെഷ്യല്‍ സബ് ഇന്‍സ്‌പെക്ടര്‍ കൊവിഡ് ബാധിച്ച് മരിച്ചു. പുലര്‍ച്ചെയോടെയായിരുന്നു മരണം. സാത്താന്‍കുളം ജയരാജ്-ബെന്നിക്‌സ് കസ്റ്റഡി മരണക്കേസില്‍ സെന്‍ഡ്രല്‍ ജയിലില്‍ റിമാന്റില്‍ കഴിയുകയായിരുന്നു.

കഴിഞ്ഞ 24നാണ് പോള്‍ദുരൈക്ക് കൊവിഡ് ബാധിച്ചത്. തുടര്‍ന്ന് മധുരയിലെ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ ചികിത്സ തേടിയെങ്കിലും ഹൃദ്രോഗ- പ്രമേഹ ബാധിതനായ ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ അവസ്ഥ വഷളാകുകയായിരുന്നു.
